Who knew? Planning a wedding can get complicated pretty quickly! Here, we have tried to anticipate any questions you may have. If you have any other queries, please just let us know - we'd love to hear from you.
Prices vary from band to band depending on many factors including the home location of the musicians. As a guide, a full band starts from a little over £1,000. Duos are also available for less. The majority of our acts are around £1,300-£1,500 for a four- to six-piece band.
Just tell us when and where you're getting married, and which bands you love the most. Then let us do all the legwork. We will check if they're available and finalise the price based on your location. When you're good to go, we'll explain how to pay your deposit.
Yes, a deposit will be payable to secure your booking. The precise figure may vary but is usually less than 20% of the booking amount. Deposits are non-refundable and should be made by bank transfer. The outstanding balance is payable before the performance date.
Our bands are full-time professionals performing exclusively at private functions. So it isn't always possible to see them live as one would with a pub covers band, for example. Their videos will give you a good idea. But their reviews will show that YouTube just doesn't do them justice.
All our acts offer two one-hour sets of live music. All sound and lighting equipment is provided. Most of our bands also offer free DJ music until midnight. Some bands also offer a first dance request for no extra charge.
A standard booking is based on arrival time around 17:00-18:00. If you require an early arrival and set-up, we will do our best to arrange this. A charge of £30 or more per musician usually applies for early set-up, depending on location.
As standard, our bands play two one-hour sets of live music. In most cases, this is the configuration which works best and which audiences enjoy most. If would prefer three sets of fort minutes, this can also be an option. Just let us know about your plans.
We ask that couples allow around one hour for the band to load in, set up and soundcheck. This can overlap with the 'room turnaround' by venue staff, but guests should be absent while heavy equipment is being loaded into the function room and during the soundcheck.
Yes, the band will need to soundcheck all live instruments including drum kit. While they will keep this as brief and discreet as possible, there will be a few minutes of unavoidably loud noise. The band will make sure this does not clash with speeches etc.
Don't worry, they always do. The band are all yours until midnight and your booking covers two hours of live performance at any time before then. We will take approximate timings from you, but the band will treat these as a guide only.
If there are any must-haves or no-go areas, please tell us or your band. They will be happy to accommodate. Beyond this, we encourage couples to let the band 'read the room' and play what experience tells them is right for the occasion.
In the unprecedented and most unlikely scenario that your band cannot perform, you will receive a full refund. We will also help you find a replacement band. If an individual band member is very ill, they will be replaced by an experienced 'deputy'.
Yes! We also provide band hire for functions, corporate events, birthday parties and more. If you are planning an event and want to leave your guests shouting for more, you've come to the right place.
